On top of the world!

I'm so excited right now. Christmas is going to rock! Those who know me well have probably already figured out that I've been pretty unhappy recently. Well, not anymore. Depression stops here, and it stops now. You want to know why?

Well I'm not going to tell you why. Just know that my life is awesome right now. Nothing can get me down.

Hey Guys

I need to go to bed soon...or actually more like an hour ago, because Class Act is singing twice tomorrow. We have a really pretty religious song worked up called,"This is the Christ". At first I didn't really like it, but it's definately grown on me.

Here are some pictures I thought I'd post tonight.

Anything Goes, 2008

With two of my favorite people, Rayne and Mom, after winning Grand Champion at the fair this year.

So, one thing that can be a strength and a weakness about me is that I'm very pragmatic. I'm very disciplined, very practical. This helps me out a lot, when it comes to getting things done, and not letting romantacism or self pity get in the way of getting things done. But it's also terrible, because I don't relate to people very well. I feel like a robot. And I wish I was a little more romantic, and a lot more fun. Something to work on I guess.

To start, someone should teach me how to make my blog more cute and less like an English report. And tell me how to put pictures on here without it being a total pain in the butt.

Speaking of practical, on Thursday Mr. Fry let us out of Physics (6th period) early, a shocker!, so we got an extra hour and a half of Christmas Break. I spent about an hour of it at the Public Library. It sounds terrible, but I really enjoyed myself. I checked out some more Robert Cormier books, I'm working on Beyond the Chocolate War. I was sceptical, because really, how can you follow The Chocolate War? But if anyone can, Cormier can I guess.

Anyways, I'm going to sleep now. Peace.

Almost Christmas

Only 3 more days of school and a few more finals, then I'm finally free for Christmas!
I'm so excited because Morgan is here already, Micah is coming late on the 19th and Kendra is coming on the 21st! Too bad Grainger won't be there. My Christmas checklist includes:
  1. SLEEP
  2. Make a Gingerbread house
  3. Caroling party
  4. Sledding
  5. Maybe a hot date
  6. Snow Ball dance with the Partner's Club
  7. Trip to CALIFORNIA!
  8. Scholarship Apps...this one isn't so exciting maybe I should have left it off
  9. Sending a Christmas package to Elder Blackett
  10. Chocolate Party (hopefully we have time)
  11. Disneylanding it up
  12. Getting a tan maybe

So my list is pretty generic and not very exciting, but don't worry. There will be lots of fun had in the next few weeks!

But right now, I need to finish my english assignments that my teacher refuses to grade. She makes me SO mad.

A relatively free day

On the way home from school today, 98.9 was playing Christmas music! Usually, I ban any and all yuletide tunes until after Thanksgiving, but I actually really enjoyed it.And now, a festive Christmas picture from Dr. House and his team:
That is seriously the most un-Christmas picture ever.
Yesterday Adam helped me out with my Physics, so I bought him some Taco Bell, and while we were there I enjoyed almost a liter a Baja Blast. Free refills, so I really gulped it down. Unfortunately, we didn't finish the problems until almost 10:30, and I was so wired on caffeine that I didn't sleep until after midnight. So I stayed up and watched House.
I should be working my butt off on my history essay test, but I just found out it isn't due 'til TUESDAY! Then I thought I would be busy with an extra credit Physics lab, but that fell through, so all I have to do is bring some supplies tomorrow and I get the credit for it. All that's left for today then is my English essay and the FFA Meeting. We're gonna go sledding.
Peace.

Thus, my blog has been created.

There you go, Calvin, I now have a blog.
I was very productive today. Sometimes I am unproductive and spend a lot of excess time on the internet. I still need to get some help from Dad on my Physics, but that's not unusual.
All-Northwest Results came in today... I didn't make it in. I'm not allowed to say how I feel about that, so let's just sum it up with "dang". Not too big of a deal though, I probably wouldn't go even if I had made it. Congratulations Rachel, Richard, Irene, and Josh!
Mom's yelling at me to go feed the animals now. I wish it wasn't so freakin' cold outside!
Later.
